What Motivated Jinquan to Develop Laser Cassette Printers?

We Jinquan started with auto archiving management system of blocks and slides in 2018.

A lot of problems occured, the biggest challenge was the QR/Matrixcode on the blocks/slides hard to read due to the low resolution printed from inkjet/thermal transfer printers.

We did the marketing survey, interacting with pathologists in different labs to know the actual needs, collecting information as much as possible.

Launched our infrared laser printers in 2018, the sharp, high contrast, permanent print enables scanning easily and quickly, well recognized by the market.

The more requirements the hospitals raised, the more solutions for Jinquan to provide. Thanks to all great feedback and suggestions from end users,  Jinquan developed a wide range of infrared laser cassette printers overtime.

Pioneer of Ultraviolet Laser Printer

There are different kinds of cassettes with different material on the market, there were lots of fumes and smoke while printing some cassettes, along with dust inside need regular clean, what's worse, burnt the writing surface, risky to cause smudge during staining. We organized meetings with our laser vendor, and found out the root cause. UV laser is a low energy light (355nm wavelength), highly absorptive, the marking is to break the carbonic back bone of polymer of acetal; IR is high output (1064nm wavelength), printing but burning the carbon particles into black, higher infrared output able to cut metal sheet precisely, that is why UV laser prints lighter than Infrared on carbonized cassette, but almost same on pure acetal cassette, with a smooth surface without any carving like infrared does on carbonized cassette. That's to say, IR laser only can mark the cassettes with laser engraving powder. We noticed there were lots of dust in the IR laser printer. Result as you can imagine, UV laser printers are more flexible, compatible with all acetal cassettes. Consequently, we ended up developing UV laser printers in 2019.
