Broadly speaking, it takes about one week of routine histopathology slide preparation to observation. However, there is some special urgent case can't wait so long, need quick diagnosis for related treatment on the same day. Our tissue freezer is specially designed for freezing the tissue within 30 seconds, the specific time depends on the tissue type and the thickness, the thicker section the more OCT will be represent.

The cooling process doesn't cause shrinkage of the samples and compatible for all types of samples, including adipose tissue, lymph node... These fatty tissue difficult to freeze shortly in microtome. However, long time of frozen is prone to generate ice crystals, which could damage the inside morphology. Ecological cooling medium, CFCs free and all the materials used to cool the sample is free of be dangerous materials such as liquid nitrogen, CO2 and isopentane.
